Closure of All Non-Life Sustaining Businesses

To Conexus Customers and Colleagues:

As of 8:00AM, Monday, March 23, 2020, in accordance with Governor Wolf’s order, all non-life sustaining businesses in Pennsylvania are closed.  The order references a list of businesses that must close, and those that can remain open.  In compliance with the order, the Conexus office is closed, but the support of our customers continues. Businesses working in “Facilities Support Services” and “Services to Buildings and Dwellings” can remain open, and Conexus is set up to continue our purpose of helping our clients optimize the comfort, safety, and efficiency of their facilities during this mandated closure.

All remaining Conexus operations continue in compliance with all recommended CDC guidelines:

  • Require sick employees to stay home.
  • Instruct employees to clean their hands often with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap and water.
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette.
  • Practice social distancing.

What are we doing and what is available to you, our valued customers:

  • Our projects in support of essential and life-sustaining businesses continue as owners request us to do so.
  • Those of you in our monthly hosted solutions subscription program will continue to receive 24/7 monitoring of your system and we can remotely troubleshoot and resolve any issues, dispatching a technician if necessary.
  • For those of you not in our monthly hosted solutions subscription program, we remain on-call, 24/7, to meet any of your service needs.  If you have a service need, please call 717.914.4344 and follow the prompts.   You will be directed to either Lori Goss, our service dispatcher, or the on-call service technician.

If we have to dispatch a service technician to your site, we will comply with your specific on-site requirements and at a minimum, do the following:

  • Routinely clean all frequently touched surfaces as a part of our work, such as workstations, countertops, and doorknobs.
  • Provide disposable wipes so that commonly used surfaces (for example, doorknobs, keyboards, remote controls, desks) can be wiped down by technicians before each use.
  • Provide latex gloves for use during any service tech visit.

Together, we will all get through this.   As always, please reach out to me directly with any questions or concerns at ktwiford@conexus.biz or 717. 222.4150.

Sincerely,
CONEXUS, INC.
